Mr. Slingenbergh is a biologically dynamic poultry farmer in Ane in the province of Overijssel, the Netherlands. He keeps 4,600 laying hens on more than 25 hectares of land for his own use. This is unique in the poultry sector. Most poultry farmers work together with an arable farmer.

Slingenbergh is an innovative entrepreneur. For example, he is developing a robust chicken breed that fits well in the biologically dynamic poultry farm. He also grows the crops in mixed cultivation. Cereals are grown here together with leguminous plants, so that the feed contains sufficient correct proteins. Compared to organic farming, the chickens have more space and the stables and outdoor run are even better adapted to the chicken's natural living environment.
