De Lepelaar is one of the oldest biodynamic companies in the Netherlands. The company has experienced very strong growth in the last 10 years and shows in practice that a large-scale approach leads to very responsible production. Linking to a livestock farm creates a closed cycle. Biodiversity is the cornerstone for healthy products. That is why the company has bought 523 ha of land to grow responsibly in the coming years and to get an even stronger economic basis for the future. There is also a multifunctional building with many possibilities. More than a million kg of products can be processed in the shed, at least on an annual basis. There is storage space in the two cold stores, for 700,000 kg of red and white cabbage, beetroot celeriac, carrots and potatoes.
