Alternativa has started to diversify its product assortment further with micro insurance. Given Alternativa's rural approach, its agri-portfolio and being a niche player in the Peruvian microfinance sector, Hivos-Triodos Fund and Triodos Sustainable Finance Foundation has provided a loan to Alternativa to realise its growth ambitions.
