Ético the Ethical Trading Company (Ético) is a UK-based trading initiative that offers a variety of quality products produced by smallholder farmers around the world. Ético emphasizes partnership, shared ownership, quality assurance, traceability and collaboration among stakeholders.

One of its activities is to provide sesame and coffee producing cooperatives in Nicaragua the opportunity to export their produce to international markets. Ético arranges the storage of their coffee in the United States, from where it is supplied to small and medium-sized coffee roasters. The sesame cooperatives refine their sesame oil and Ético arranges the supply to international buyers.
